Police & Crime Commissioner for Cheshire, Dan Price, and Chief Constable Mark Roberts are looking to appoint a Chair and members of the Joint Audit Advisory Committee (JAAC), which provides independent assurance around the governance and financial arrangements of the Constabulary and Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner.
While it is not a scrutiny function, the JAAC support good governance and strong financial management and advise the Commissioner and Chief Constable directly.
Members must have a good understanding of risk management, governance, audit and financial controls and the annual accounts. Ideally the Chair should have previous experience of chairing meetings.

The closing date for applications is 5pm on 1st December 2024. Shortlisting will take place in December and interviews are planned for 17th December 2024.
