Croft Parish – Notice of Election

Election of a Parish Councillor for Croft Parish Council – Southworth Ward – 1 Vacancy
1. Forms of nomination for the Parish Election may be obtained from the Clerk to the Parish Council or from the Town Hall, Warrington, WA1 1UH from the Returning Officer who will, at the request of an elector for any electoral area prepare a nomination paper for signature.
2. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Town Hall, Warrington, WA1 1UH on any day after the date of this notice but no later than 4 pm on Friday, 1st November 2024.
3. If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 28th November 2024.
4. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday 12th November 2024. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
5. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Town Hall, Warrington, WA1 1UH by 5 pm on Wednesday, 13th November 2024. You may apply online or download a form at https://www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote or contact the Electoral Registration Office direct.
6. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate (free voter ID, or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election, must reach the Town Hall, Warrington, WA1 1UH by 5 pm on Wednesday, 20th November 2024. You may apply or download a form at https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate
7. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Town Hall, Warrington, WA1 1UH by 5 pm on Wednesday, 20th November 2024.
8. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election applied for on the grounds of physical incapacity, work or lost VoterID must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Town Hall, Warrington, WA1 1UH by 5 pm on Thursday, 28th November 2024.
