Dear Crofters, please see the message below from John Dwyer, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire…
I’m getting in touch today because I have launched a public consultation on my proposed refresh of the Police and Crime Plan, which you can read here.
When I first published the Plan last year I promised to refresh it based on people’s feedback in other surveys I have carried out, as well as key themes from conversations and correspondence I’ve had with people, businesses and community groups across the county.
There is a survey where people can have their say, which can be accessed at www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/cpacp2022. I want to ensure the feedback I receive is truly reflective of Cheshire’s communities and so any help in sharing this survey with your Councillors, residents and relevant partners is greatly appreciated.
The consultation survey will close at midday on Wednesday 28 September and I will take all responses received into account before publishing the final Plan later this year.
As a valued stakeholder I would also welcome your feedback, whether via letter or email, and I am more than happy to make time available for a conversation if you feel it would be helpful.
Getting as many people’s views as possible over the next few weeks is paramount to ensuring this refreshed Plan remains effective and a true reflection of the public’s priorities. I look forward to hearing what people have to say and developing the Plan further, in partnership with communities and stakeholders across Cheshire.
