Please see below update from St Helens Council regarding Parkside Link Road.
To provide an update on the PLR Scheme, and in particular the M6 Junction 22 works:
- Traffic Management will be removed from the M6 J22 Gyratory (including slip roads), A49 Winwick Link Road and A579 Winwick Lane overnight on Thursday 6th February 2025.
- For short period on Friday 7th February 2025, the roundabout will act as a standard roundabout, with give way signs in place.
- The new traffic signals will be in operation, after the morning rush hour on Friday 7th February 2025 and a period of monitoring will take place. The new layout of the roundabout is attached for your information.
